I'd like to thank Jesse at ELOS USA, my guys at J&L Aquatics, Vancouver, and all you guys here who I've been stalking for the last 2 months.
I've been researching the next step for myself and finally took the next step yesterday. I would have liked to do the 120XL, but location and work schedule prohibits. Jesse has been an incredible resource, answering all my queries.

Jesse, hope I didn't hold you up too much with all my phone calls.

Well this is what I took on.

System 120, Cyrstal
Upgraded to Elos NS1000 Skimmer
2 Tunze 6055 heads
Computer / Controller TBD
Solaris 48" I4 LED lighting
At least two cases of Caymus Cabernet, maybe more.
...and sold my soul back to the man.

Be safe.

If it helps on shipping you can ship those cab cases to my warehouse and I can add them to the shipment. Wellllllll, I will add most of those two cases to the shipment;)

Love the Wine country. Usually stay in Yountville at the Bellagio. Where if you try you can smell the pastries being baked at Buchon. I was last there in September. Love the wines at Joseph Phelps, his Cabs are awesome.

It was quite the battle for shipping. Jesse you got to open an ELOS Canada. :) Vancouver would be a great spot for it. :)

Ginzo, you west coast?

Been really busy at work, but finally had some time last weekend to plumb and test the system. Ease of hookup, and provided parts were all that were needed. Added a few ties for peace of mind, but are not needed. Also raised the sump off of the hardwood floor, I was worried that the radiant heating might have caused some condensation.

Today, added salt to prepare for rock shipment, read up on the purist line. After a talk with Jesse, I decided to try a scaled down system. I am going to go with, aqua uno to start the rock. Once cured will go to RB10, RB 20, a little RB 30, Filter M, and Aminos. The Amino sample Jesse sent with tank had noticable growth effects on my Acro, and Milli.

Tomorrows project to make electrical safe, and clean up the wires.

It's been about three weeks since I added animals. Still a work in progress, I think I am finally satisfied with the rockwork. I just thought I would add some new pictures.

I also added a Vortech today, all I can say is wow!!. The jury seems to be still out on this one, but I thought I would give one a try. It is quieter than my three Tunze 6055s, and it was able to make a wave that the three Tunzes could not even do.

I do get a vibrating noise when at 100%, but I would never run it that high. To get the wave that I currently have I have it set to Pulse, 70%ish, and have about a 1 second pulse. With those settings I can barely hear it. I only wish that my BioCube fans were that quiet.

I wish I had left some space on the left side of the tank so I could have added another vortech.

Cheers

Nice tank. I also like the open aquascaping. Are those two pillars single pieces of rock?

khoivo1 - Thanks, I know wish I went with the 125XL. :) The legs are fully adjustable thru the length of the light. It looks like you could spread the legs to the far ends of the light to get the distance you need to span your 160XL. I would call PFO and see what they think. When I first got the light I had it on my 29G bio Cube.

Just waiting to have the chance to hang it.

Quatro - Thanks for the input. Have nothing on the back side yet. Love being able to see thru both sides. Have about 6 inches of swim space on the back side.

chem-e - The three pillars are made up of 18-10lb pieces propped up on smaller rock for support. Then glued in place
