MH with small tank (20 and less) How high do you suspend your light ?

I am setting up my 20H nano with Sunpod 150W fixture. How high do you suspend the light from the water level ?

How high does your temp get and how high do you keep the temp in your house ?

How much evaporation do you top off daily with a 20 gallon ?

I have a 10g 15" cube with a 175 watt fixture, it is 8" from the surface of the water and everything seems to be really happy, my zoos and sps and clam. I started at 16" and worked my way down for a week to see which worked best.

its just hung using a suspension kit drilled into the sides of the closet, nothing fancy

i have a 20 gallon...with the glass of the 150 mh 4.5" above water surface...it is fixed in the canopy that way, i cant make it any higher..:(
i also have 48watts PC actinics at the same height..actinics are on for 13 hours a day...MH on for 8hrs

house temp ~72*
tank temp climbs from 79* to about 82-3*

i lose 1/2 gallon a day to evap...sump is a 10 gallon aga and the return section is 12" x14" x 9"deep

i have a Koralia2, and aquaclear70 (return pump) and a MJ900 on a CL and a mj400 in the fuge... all four pumps run 24/7 which also contribute to heat and evap...

My pendant is less then 4" from the water's surface. My house stays between 70-75* in my house. The tank's temp. stays between 79.5 and 80.5. My tank evaporates about a gallon every 4-5 days.

i just set up a 150 MH and have it about 10" above the water and when my lights are off the temp is usually 79 but yesterday since it was kinda a warm day when ihad my lights on the temp of the tank jumped to 82. so far i have my lights on for 2 - 21/2 hrs and its under 14K bulbs

i usually have to top off my tank with about 1/2 gallon every 3 days
