So I'm bored and I was told on the lurker thread to post even if I don't have anything worthwhile to say... Well I still don't have anything worthwhile but I figured I'd share some pics of my tank. It's been set up for about a year now so here's a few pics from the beginning until today...

Way back 13 months ago... 65GallonRR with a ~40gal sump

A couple of weeks later (wait for a cycle? No way!) - Hey, It's a reef!

Ooooohhhh... more rock from Florida! HitchHikers make up about 80% of the life in my reef tank..

I'm in a long drawn out tank crash I think - It's hard to tell from this pic but I've lost a good percentage of the frags I'd had in my tank in the past 2 months or so - still haven't found a cause...

Moved a bunch of rock to the sump this week to give more swimming room to the fishes

So what does everyone think? Needs work I know, I'm not thrilled with the aquascape at this point but winter's almost here, it's reef-season...

Lost kind of a random bunch of corals, 7 out of 8 LPS frags I got in a frag pack from an online store - they were fine for about 6 months then in September stuff just started dying for no obvious reason.

My big monti-cap died, Had a nice candy-cane coral that shriveled up and died and now it looks like my open brain is going to go from the best specimen I'd ever seen to dead for no reason... The tank was starting to get overrun with pulsing xenia and about 90% of them died right away when stuff started looking sick.....

Oh well, makes room to buy all new corals I guess... Well after stuff stops dying anyway...

Nice job documenting the tank progression. You should post your tank parameters and chemistry and maybe we can help diagnose your problem. Corals never die for no reason. Perhaps we can help isolate the problem.
