So I got this coral about three months ago. It came from someone who was tearing their tank down, and I bought three corals. (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=10490446#post10490446)

The other two are doing fine, but this one is not looking so great. It started to lose tissue at the base. I fragged the top half off, and the rest I glued to a frag plug. Here's a shot of the part I took out of the tank.

And zoomed in a little.

I had a problem with red bugs 2 months ago, but I irradicated them with interceptor. I searched this little dude for egg casings or flatworms, but I didnt see a thing. It could just be that it's struggling to acclimate (this part was shaded by the rest of the coral), but I wondered if anyone had other thoughts. Thanks for your help!!
