I will be getting a 265 gallon in a few months and am now looking for a filter to handle it. The tank will be a FOWLR and I would say a very heavy bioload once I am done stocking it. Since I have never set up a tank this big before, (only 75 gallon FOWLR) I need some advice on what to get.

Currently I have
2x Lifeguard single mechanical
2x Lifeguard single chemical
1x Lifeguard single UV
1x Lifeguard single heater module
CPR bakpak skimmer
Small 10 gallon sump

I am looking for a good setup I can buy (limited tools to build anything) and if I could use my current setup in anyway to add on to the new system. Also wanted a small refugium for mangroves to cut down the nitrates, and help with the bio load.

ditch the CPR bakpak wont make a difference on a 265

Get a good skimmer and you should be all set for FOWLR
