well prob the worst thing happened when i moved my tanks water quality went bezerk and killed my poor fu man chu lion :( after some chemicles and a big water change i got it mostly normal :nitrate 5.0 , nitrite 0 - 0.25 ammonia 0.25 ph 8.2 -8.3. the fuzzy seemed to be doing alright but now im noticing he is loosing his color he is very pale and stays close to bottom most of the day (which isnt like him he is always putting around the tank)
any ideas on whats wrong with him ? im still trying to ween him onto krill but started feeding feeders again to make sure he would eat alright.

Thanks in advance

he is probably just stressed out how long ago did you move the tanks

I would be concerned about detectable nitrites and ammonia.
Could you be overfeeding?

Also, are the lionfish's eyes clear?

definately sounds like overfeeding, Do you have a high enough rated PS to pick up the excess+ a wetdry? those would signifcally drop the lvl s in a short time if you didnt have em already.

I think the new tank is just cycling and they should go down in a few days and the lion should start eating if your water continues to test high then you may want to consider a PS or more frequent water changes
