I thought I saw a thread about DIY ozone reactors but I cant find it now. Is there a simple way to make one? PVC perhaps?

Very interested in this as well. In my circumstances it does not need to be a pressurized

If it could be a 2-3gallon system that does not need any pumps

any thoughts?

Why does your not need to be pressurized?

if you make electrical sparks, their bi-product is ozone. i could be off, but i think that that is true

no reason, just I'd rather have a gravity fed system, where the o3 has direct contact with the water, I dont know if my thought process would even work.

Are you thinking of a diy pressurized system?

In a very, very simple way, thats somewhat true. What was your point though? We are by no means trying to make an ozonizer, just a reactor to mix the ozone with the saltwater in a safe manner. I prefer not mixing it through my skimmer, so I want a reactor.

As for pressurized or not, Im not sure yet. Maybe not. I will at least have to use a pump though. It will not be gravity fed.

I really havent even researched this, yet. Have you found any good links?

I've thought about using an old "I can't even give this away" ultra low-end skimmer as an ozone "chamber" and then pipe that output water through my carbon filter to clean out the O3. I'm unsure how often I would need to change out the carbon in that case though.
