i was wondering if my tank is ready to add fish and coral in there. ammo is .25, nitrite .25, and nitrate is around 10. i have a 1 month water from a 55 gallon tank to this new tank which is 125gallon. just added 90lbs of live rock which ordered online. the tank already have 2 clown fish in there which was from the old tank 55 gallon. Just wondering if it safe to add more fish and new coral in there or should i just wait. Beside i saw alot of red little stuff handing on my tank glass and near the sand bed. anyone know what that is. is it good or bad?

if you just added more live rock. You will have a cycle. You should wait

i would wait if you just put the live rock in you will see some die off and your levels will rise and like he said will have a small cycle so give time
with this hobby patience is everything i know its hard but give it some time maybe 2 weeks and check levels often
also the red stuff is probably cyano algae (new tank syndrome)
also brown algae you probably come across is going to be diatoms
good luck with the new 125

If you're still measuring ammonia and nitrite, then no, your tank is not ready for fish or coral. You want both of those things to be zero before adding any inverts or fish.

i agree I would wait until you see 0 amm. and 0 nitrites for a week before adding anything.

Wait your asking if your tank is ready but you already have 2 fish in it or are they in some other tank?

I think you have contra- indicated yourself by asking this question, you have already put to fish in. clown fish are very hardy, just take a watch out for them! and do not put any corals in yet they will die quickly as they need presting water conditions.
