i purchased a beautiful anthias almost 4 weeks ago. it was listed as a queen purple anthias, but in books resembles a bartlett's anthias instead. she is bright pink with bright yellow along the back and belly that go all the way through the tail. unfortunately, she refuses to eat! i've tried live baby brines, live copepods, and frozen enriched mysis, enriched brine, bloodworms, ect. there is plenty of live macroalgae and the other species are all non aggressive. she has staked out her territory in a cave, and besides the complete lack of eating and progressively caving belly, she seems healthy. what can i do to get her to eat? its so sad just watching her waste away. what else can i try?

Live brine shrimp are the most likely food to be accepted by a finicky IMPE. Some fish will just flat refuse to eat when they are stressed though and there's not a whole lot that you can do about it. I would keep trying the live brine shrimp regularly and see if she decides to eat.
