i have a 125 gal tank with a nice amount of mushrooms on my live rock. i have four circlelation pumps to move around the water. it seems that the water is tearing the mushrooms right off the rock. one already got torn off and i dont no were it went and one more is starting to come off. i moved all my power heads so that they dont aim at the mushroom but the one mushroom is still looking like its going to come off? what should i do?

sometimes mushrooms detach from the rocks leaving behind a small trace of flesh to start a new mushroom. the other thing might be is that mushrooms do not like water flow, mine do best in areas of no flow, if there moving around, its too high of flow (in my experiance)

Sounds about right to me. They either are breeding or just trying to get away from the flow.

the less flow the better i have found. all my shrooms are in areas of low flow. although if there are to many on one rock they will move. i started with on rock of shrooms and now they are on about 5 different ones.
