I accidentally rubbed pvc primer on the inside of one of the fittings instead of the outside where it was supposed to go? Is this alright or is this stuff toxic to tanks?

Let it dry for 24hrs and it should be fine unless it seeps.. look on the outside label

I would say like zach0660 to let it dry and rinse it very well.

once it is dry it is inert and safe just like if your plumbing pipe had some on it and beleve me it does get inside some
Good luck

primer removes the hardened surface so the glue will penitrate and mage a weld like connection but the glue never covers all of the primer it will dry and be safe read the can for cure time

Good to hear. The can doesn't say on it so that's why I figured I try you guys. Thanks all and happy reefing.

It's made for potable water pipes, so yes it's safe.

I use it to "paint" things in my tank the color of coraline (pipes etc) never had an issue. I've used quite a bit of it. Have a 10' spraybar under my rocks that is all purple from primer.
