get the 75 gpd unit. better quality and the DI canister that is up and down makes a huge diff. the one for 69.00 is more for drinking water then anything even tjough it states it is for an aquarium.

Kau_Cinta_Ku, which one are you referring to? The typhoon or the filterguys?

Thanks

I'm sure either one will work fine for you. If you go with a cheapo system for 50 bucks, you will most likely not be happy with quality or performance and ultimately be looking for a better system. To me that is pointless, just get a good one from the start and eliminate all those headaches. The Typhoon appears to be a good setup and the Filterguys systems also appear to be good setups. I'm personally getting ready to pick up the system that i posted above after doing a little research on them. The filter guys support this forum and they get a lot of good feed back from the people here.

+1

I love my Typhoon III 75GPD. Don from Air Water Ice has great service, too.

We just did a group order in our club and got 15% off and free shipping. :)

Holy cow...

Thats kinda scary.

And also a perfect example of why to invest in a good RO/DI.

AWI is not an RC sponsor anymore for some reason. I myself prefer to do business with those who help keep this site up and running for all of us to use. There are several choices that are all reef quality systems starting at about $150.
www.buckeyefieldsupply.com - 75 GPD Premium, one of my top picks since it includes an inline pressure gauge and handheld TDS meter as well as an adjustable flow restrictor if you request it all for $161.
www.thefilterguys.biz - 75 GPD Ocean Reef +1 is a very good unit with all the necessary features you will need.
www.melevsreef.com - Reefkeeper, this is great system and Melev is a mainstay here on RC with a wealth of knowledge that he volunteers to all that ask for guidance.
www.purelyh2o.com - Optima Vision, Automated or Professional, several choices depending on how you plan to use it.
www.spectrapure.com - The undisputed Cadillac of systems with teh MaxCap RO/DI, if you have high TDS nothing else even comes close at any price. They also have a new 1:1 waste ratio Ultra High Efficiency system that is the answer for those who cannot or prefer not to waste water for one reason or another.
