Opps. Not sure what happen but my main point was for people who use unfiltered tap water and always seem to endorce its use by going out of there way to mention the fact.
I was hopeing they would stop this and i think its use would drop but im sure never disappear.

I read a bit of the other posts on this topic before they where deleted and thought this was a bit confusing!
Basically he's asking that if you use tap water, and your tank is doing well, don't say you use tap water because a newbie could come on, read that tap water is ok and have the worst tap water in the world!
So if your using tap water, and it works for you, never let on its tap water!

We all live and learn, I tried it years ago when I though that I knew everything. For me It was not a good experience.

Given Demon's adamint persistance on the topic it has to make you wonder..... What ever did tap water ever do to him?.... He has a serious bug up his.... against the use of tap water!

I think he is hydro-phobic! I use tap. I have p.c. lights. I put pickling lime in my tanks. I go on long hollidays. Maybe he has a r/o co. ?
