Ok time for the dumbest question of the day. I have suddenly developed small tiny bubbles on a vast majority of my live rock is this bubble algae??? I have just finished cycling and I am about to select a clean up crew does anyone have any good or bad things to say about the usual clean up crews (snails, hermit crabs, cucumbers)

Sounds like micro bubbles collecting in the algea. Cant say why but if your tank is 3 months old and theres no cleanup crew then this would be a good start.

They are all benefits to the tank.

Are the bubbles in a green casing or just look like air bubbles? If they are air bubbles, then it is from the algae or microbubble accumulation.
I personally don't trust hermit crabs. I think a 35g may be too small for a cucumber.
I would stick to a variety of snails. Nassarius, trochus, cerith, bumblebee, and nerite. This list assumes you have a sand bed.
