For a while I have been toying with different methods of trying to get my temp more stable in my system. After I started monitoring with the AC3P about 9 months ago, this project has always been in the background, but I really haven't found a solution I like...

My tank is upstairs, and the sum is down stairs... so the basement is always a tiny bit cooler, and helps maintaining a constant "drag" on the temp. If I unplug my heater totally, I will drop 2 degrees... which is a nice feature. recently I have begun to try to "fine tune" my graphing results to get less highs and lows... and more a a steady temp... I have found mixed results and am hoping for some suggestions.

temp always climbs when halides are on, but that is unavoidable... bet you can't tell when that is...

I've been using the lines:
If Temp < 75.6 Then HET ON
If Temp > 76.0 Then HET OFF

and I've been getting these results as of late:

I will be adding fans in the light hood that is under construction, but is there anything else I can do? or is this just look ok to everyone?

no replies must mean that everyone else has a simular looking graph...

Those temperature variations look typical.

A typical reef in the wild fluctuates more than that.

I feel a bit better then, as I've been striving for less variation.
