A fellow reefer was getting rid of several corals that had out grown his aquarium. Most of them were large "common" corals that I had no problem identifying. One maze coral is proving difficult. Here is a overhead picture (dark because I had to block the reflection).

And a side picture while it was still in his tank.

The bottom is cone shaped leaving me to believe it is free-living. My best guess is a Manicina sp. Any guesses?

If I had to guess I would say Symphyllia. Manicina to the best of my knowledge is a Carribean coral, and while they are around and available through certain vendors are fairly uncommon. Not that that has anything to do with what it might be, it also doesnt look like one IMO.
