what's the average price for picasso clownfish?

my lfs just told me he has a distributor who has a pair for $125


is that a fair price?

Many Picasso clowns sell for about $100. each, (what I would consider to be average right now), so $125 for a pair is a good deal. On the low end, you may find some for $50. each, but that is unusual for nicely marked Picasso clowns. Of course when there get to be more of them in the market, the price will drop. A lfs about 60 miles from me sold a pair last week for $450. Of course some people think they are ugly at any price. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and they are worth whatever someone is willing to pay.
