I'm going to be plumbing a 45g frag grow out tank into what will be my very first sump... I already have an old empty 55g and was thinking of using this as the sump. I am also planing to plumb a 40g refugium "upstream" of the frag tank that will use a plenum, DSB, and macro algae, so the sump I design does not need to provide an area for this. Instead I would like to leave a large area to keep several chunks of L.R. (in the sump)
If anyone has pic's they can post to give me ideas of baffle design/placement/plumbing that would be awesome!

Wow! Thanks Kdblove_99 ~ that does help to give idea's... Seem's like an awfull lot of stuff to have running without even having a display tank! lol. (kidding) : )
Hey - Loomis is actually close enough for me to drive if you wouldnt mind schooling me in person with the detail's of installation... Is there anything you would change with your setup if given the oppertunity?

Any one else have some pic's to share?

yeah i would make the baffles a little further away from each other and the middle one a little taller.

But i have it pretty much how i like it. I just set up my tank a few months ago and decided to go through the wall and have all that stuff in the garage
