I picked up a nice piece of green bubble coral and it's not opening in my tank. All my parameters are perfect and all my other corals (mix of sps and lps) look great. I even have a white bubble that I've had for a year and looks great.

Any sugestions? I've tried moving it around to more shady locations. My guess is that I have too much flow. i have 90g tank with a vortex on low, a small tunze and a wavy sea return.
It seems weird that the white bubble is fine right next to it.

give it some time. It may take a few days for it to open up. What kind of lighting was it under at the store you got it from? What kind of lighting do you have?

I've had it for a month. It was under twin 250mh at Grenich Aquaria. It's under the same setup in my tank, the only difference I can think of is too much flow??
