Roger:

Now that Tunze has introduce the 6101/6201/6301 is there not some concerns about the reliability of the electronics being part of the motor block. The older versions had the electronics separate in the blue box.

I would assume a failure in the electronics which does happen would require complete replacement of the motor block?

Or am I misinformed and there is actually no electronic components in the motor block.

I cant believe that they would place all those sensitive electronics inside the motor assembly? The transformer alone takes up quite a bit of space.

Yes on the 6101 and the 6201 the driver or electronics are now built into the pump. The round coil style transformer has been replaced with a laptop style power supply.

Customers wanted the pump simplified without so many parts. So far the new set up has proven very reliable. Even in the old design some electronics were in the motor block.
