Help! I recently bought a green coris wrasse and he has done nothing but harass my sea grass wrasse. I have already informed my LFS he will be coming back a s soon as I can catch him....in my reef tank. I tore the whole tank down yesterday but to no avail, I could not find him. This morning there he was waiting for food. How do I catch this beast who is terrorizing my sea grass?

Get a fish trap, but be patiant. Give it a week befor you mess with it so they get comfortable with it and you will see them pass in and out.

You could also try two net method. That way you can use one net to direct the fish into the other.

Kordon makes a fish corral. You can check it out on their website.

I caught my Wrasse yesterday using the plain 'ol soda bottle trick. It cost me a whopping $2 and some fishing line. I had the Wrasse out in 20 minutes.

i caught my trigger the other day by tying a mysis shrimp pattern on a size 22 hook. a little bit of 5x tippet flurocarbon if youve got picky fish..lol.. if you dont fly fish or tie your own flies you could always just put a piece of real shrimp on the hook... Crimp down the barb on the hook. This really works it how i catch my fish now.
