I am trying to figure out why my salinity keeps decreasing? I know that with evaporation....your salinity should increase.....however.....I am having a problem with my salt level decreasing slowly by the days. My sump is a bit to small for my tank, i think its a w/d 150 on a 150 gallon.....but i fill it a few inches above the max level and within the same day its sucking dry. So i am planning on upgrading that soon. Any ideas on the salinity? All my levels are fine and i am running my lights the same i always have! And also.....what size sump do you all recommend for a 150 gallon tank? I need more water volume so I dont have to top-off every day!

salt creep anywhere? such as splash on light fixtures, side of the tank and sump, etc.
maybe you are topping-off to much?

do you skim wet? That will remove salt...

i think its just the hydrometers i am using....i took the sample in to a LFS and they tested it with a refractometer and it said 1.024 not 1.021-1.022. I am buying one this week.
