I think my fish is constipated

My yellow damsel has what I'm assuming is poop hanging from it's rear and its been swimming upside down against a rock overhang to help push it out. How do I avoid my fish getting constipated -if in fact that's what's happening. Thanks

The color is black. I recently had added once a day supplement to the tank diet - "reef solution". I don't think I over feed - in fact, I feed only once a day and never more that "what they can consume in 5 minutes". I feel bad for it - I think it may be in pain.

I dont know much about fish poop but i remeber when i joined this site something about white poop and or stringy poop was a sign of a parisite i dont remeber where i found it you might want to post that in a thread about illnesses stuff im drawn a blank on the exact thread name.

Thanks - the poop is partially out and looks solid. It's funny to be taking about this but hey - it's life.

Are his eyes brown ?

:-0 I've read about issue before. I believe it was a parasite issue but i can't be certain. It seems like it was treatable. Hopyfully someone will chime in with some better info for you.
