I have a new maroon clown that I have in quarantine for a few more weeks. Today I noticed he had white stringy fecies. He is eating good and looks fat but not bloated.
What I am wondering is; How do I treat for them? I know that for fresh water fish they have medicated food. I have searched the fish disease forum and all I can find are fish with either brook or ich. Will it be something that passes? or do I need to medicate for it?
Here is a pic of the little guy. As soon as he has been through his quarantine he will be put in with his, hopefully, new mate.
