Does anyone have a Salifert CA test kit? i just got in my salifert ca test kit and the ca-1 stuff only came half way full. Is that normal?

Is CA-1 the powder? If so, that's normal.

yes it is the powder and it came half full- okay so thats normal- it just made me nervous.
how far into a tank setup should i start testing for CA?

Well, as soon as coralline growth is wanted, or stony corals have been added. I started after the ammonia hit zero.
