I had an old 20 gallon tank. Sectioned off the 20g and hide it inside the old dresser. Where the water comes into the sump from the tank I have a section blocked off for LR rubble. then I have space for refuge. Then a section for return pump. I did it this way so if my overflow looses suction, only 3 galons of water will flow back into my tank not 15!! Overflow box brings water down and mag-7 returns the water with a seven foot long tube 350 gph. Later I will add live sand, LR rubble...and any recomendations.

I build the hood and housed 440 watts of VHO. 2 actinic and 2 10,000k. 2 ballasts housing 1 of each bulb. Left a little open space for air flow (cooling). maybe add fans later. For now I alternate turning one balast on at a time. alternating days. I turn lights on 8-10 hours per day. No corals so lighting is not important. I dont want to use up my bulbs life span.

Here is a small powerhead. I had it from 20g tank and use it for a little more water flow.
