This is my Wavy-Hand Anthelia and was picked up from a local reefer in August. I have recently moved and the first photo here is it shortly after the move fully expanded and looking great!

This second shot was two weeks later. It just is opening up the same anymore and looks like it is getting smaller and smaller, opening up less and less.

Today it looks even worse.

My water parameters are good and haven't changed since the move. The only parameter I haven't tested for recently is Calcium. As their any special needs of these that I am not aware of?

Help please...and thank-you!

Cheers

Anthelia in general in my experience a pretty hardy coral. There was actually an incidence for me when the tips of some of my anthelia were bleaching...after about two weeks, it bounced right back. The coral may just be stressed from the move at the moment. Are there any neighboring corals that could be irritating the anthelia? You can try doing a water change and see what that does...water changes never hurt.

There is nothing that is in close proximity to this right now. I am doing a 10g change tonight, so I hope that help...it looks pretty sickly right now.

Thanks, I hope this bounces back like yours did.

Check you calcium as well. I didn't think it was possible to hurt that stuff. It started spreading across my tank like a weed, until I had to trade about half of my rock in. And pieces still pop up every now and then. What other corals do you have in there?
