I have two of current USA 20" HQI MH I plan to put on a 48" tank.. because I cannot afford a 48" wide MH unit right now.
I could put the 2 lamps across the front to back, which is about 20".
I know the reflector and bulb is meant to spread across the length of the unit. But do you think it would it be that bad?
