Did you try soaking/cleaning the shaft/prop in vinegar?

I would second on trying to soak in vinegar... I have to clean my return pump and powerheads at least once a month to get rid of all the mineral deposits that form in there... I learned the hard way before and burnt up a return pump by not cleaning it that often...

Yea, my koralia was quite a pain with restarting, i had to push the impeller down until it worked. I then decided to clean it real good and no more probs. Take it apart and really scrub it and soak it in white vinegar. Shouldn't be a problem after that.

I had one of my #2s die on me (also in a 54 corner). Hydor was great about replacing it, I recommend you contact them.
