help with new cpr refugium..

I can't get the pump to fit for the life of me..

IT says.. refer to picture for only attatchment needed... Well which picture ?
I keep trying all the attatchments and I can't get of them to fit on the refugium..

also does it matter if I add the substrate later because i don't have any at the moment.

You can add the substrate later. Is it the hang on version? I also added some rock rubble in mine.

I have some rubble, sand, and some more cheato coming =)
Maybe it will help with the cloudiness...
