the pink guys on the rock, in your experience, what do they like re: light and flow? Thanks for your help!

i don't have any info on the very nice pink paly's but i do have plenty with the green buttons that in my opinion need to be as far away from anything you value. they will over take them and you will have nothing but green buttons .

just so you don't forget this is a picture of just a small section of my tank. I started with only three or four on a piece of base rock on the other side of my tank !

they look like they could color up alot more. what are you lighting them with? zoas aren't really picky in terms of placement and lighting.

its a 20h, i think 18" high? i just put a 150w sunpod on the tank. I had gotten similar ones as a gift years ago and over night they literally disappeared....not a TRACE....lol...I really want these buggers to grow so i'm looking for the optimal spot for them. thanks!

what kelvin temp aka color is the bulb?
Depending how long you have had them you can move them up slowly to see where they look the best, but not more then 1/2 way.

With that setup I would say anywhere is fine. I like when they are on the bottom (in substrate) for looks, just my opinion though...
