Scratches on a AGA tank

Is there any way to lessen some scratches on an all glass tank that is in use???

There are glass polishing kits available, but not for a tank in use, you would need to at least drop the water level to below that of the scratch.

I understand that they require a lot of elbow grease to get out even the lightest scratches

yes it takes a lot of work to remove the scratches from glass.

call a glass company. they can help you.

ps do not try to buff it out with a buffer most times people heat the spot where the scratch is and then crack goes the tank because it expands too rapidly and the remaining glass pops
