quiet overflow drian

have a 75g reef set up w cornor overflow and durso set up . still to noisy for the wife , anyone find any quieter versions. used to use a ball valve at end of durso to restrict flow just a bit but proved to be a pain and almost overflowed once or twice. also raised durso to raise level in overflow, helped w waterfall sound but still have loud sound of water down drain.

You shouldn't have the sound of water down the drain. Try tweaking it. Is the air hole big enough at the top of the Durso. Try having the durso at an angle intead of flush straight.
