I bought this dying coral last week for a pretty low price thinking it was micromussa, just the way it looked in the stores tank and it was much smaller then all the lords in the same tank. I know all about small acan lords but for the price i figured what the hell if its a lord and it recovers it will still have been a steal and if it dies oh well.
Well a week later it hasn't had anymore die off and has been eating so it appears on its way to recovery. The colony is about 75% dead there are full polyps on the side but harder to photograph since i prefer top down shots.

now that i've examined it, compared it with lords, I think its a lord, but its hard to say. My only micromussa has puffed up to the size of some of my lords.
