i have two 6025 nanostreams connected to a red sea wavemaster pro. i get "hard start" clicking from the pumps when the controller changes to on/from off. can this be solved?

This is normal from the pump as it is the propeller righting itself to spin in the correct direction. These pumps are actually not ment be on a wavemaker that kicks them off and on as often as these do for this reason because it is very hard on the pump and impeller. It is recommended that they cycle in 15 minute or longer intervals

The wavemaster switches too fast and will damage the pumps, they do click on start and they are not meant to be switched so rapidly, 15 minutes is the minimum time they should run between being switched off.

thanks for the reply. is there a way to set the times on the wavemaker? Do i need a different model? or am i sol?

Just use a regular light timer, the wavemaster switches too fast.
