I cannot get my ammonia down, water change after water change..... Tanks been in my house for 2 months, but was set up for 2-3 years before that. When we moved we kept the sand and rock "live" I have 2 skimmers running and I am topping off with RODI water.... I really have no clue. My fish and inverts are doing great, aside from sps(1 regal, 2 clowns, Royal Gramma, Yellow Goby, 3 cleaner shrimp, arrow crab, bristle and serpent star, bubble tip, and various coral). 1/2 inch sandbed and 150 lbs+ of live rock. 2 Tunze powerheads and 6 locklines for flow. Any ideas will be appreciated.

This maybe the problem. You maybe causeing mini cycles in your tank. No more then 33 % and only whene really needed. 10% weekly or even 10 bi weekly depending on your water readings and your load. Stop Changing The Water it never cures the problem only helps if done right.

right, but I only did the water changes because of the ammonia

The move may have caused a high reading that some carbon and a few nominal water changes would have cured. But with the amount of water being changed you may have only made it worse.

How long has your tank been up?
