Anyone with a Ruler and a 4ft T-5

I am trying to find out if a 4 foot t-5 with endcaps will wit in my hood. Can anyone measure from the end of one endcap to the other, or do you know exactly off hand. I have exactly 47.1 inches of space

46 1/2" but the end cap mounts actually are further apart ... 46 7/8" . The mounts can actually be oriented either way. They may be further apart if oriented one way rather that the other but the bottom line is that if you have 47.1 inches, you have the space that you need.

Yea that was my problem, I have the Geissiman bulbs they run around 43.5" The web site says exactly. Buy the bulbs first then fit your bulbs in to the end caps before installing. I helps you get them square and the right length.

oh yea 46.5" end cap to end cap with the stucchi endcaps for the TEK retrofit.
