Need some quick advice: I used PC-7, which is a 2-part epoxy resin (link (http://www.pcepoxy.com/pastepoxies/pastepc7.asp#) ), to construct a pillar of LR for my reef tank (needed to fill some space...). The pillar uses a 1/2" CPVC stand for support and the rocks are also stuck to each other with the epoxy. Once this sets up, is there any reason to believe it would not be reef-safe?

Not sure. I know there are some you cant use and some labeled for SW . I would find a reef safe epoxy and compare ingrediants. It could break down in the SW or leach out unwanted elements.

Here's the chemical data: tech sheet (http://www.pcepoxy.com/MSDS/MSDSPC7.pdf)

I'll have to track one down for a reef safe epoxy and compare... Thanks
