Hi guys, I'm getting a 180 gallon tank tonight and wondering if these stocking levels are ok.
A porcupine Puffer
An Emperor Angel
A dogface Puffer
A Yellow Tang
A Hippo Tang
Those fish are definite.
And I would also like to add
A Bannerfish
A Clown Surgeon
A Stars and Stripes puffer.
Think all those would be ok? Or should I just forget about Stars and Stripes and possibly Clown Surgeon?

Fish are good, just make sure to have a decent skimmer with the load those big guys give off

Really I can get away with all of them?
Thanks.

While their small. Puffers are messy. I would leave out the stars and stripes if possible.

yes, just be willing to maintain the tank properly for the load

Yeah I thought the stars and stripes was pushing it.

I'd also watch aggression with the clown tang. Heniochus (bannerfish) can be kept in groups, maybe consider two or three.

The clown tang would be my last fish to help minimize aggression somewhat.
Wil consider a few banners. Thanks.

the porcupine puffers are fin nippers and the stars and stipe puffers are very agressive and will probalbly kill the dog face and maybe the porcupine puffer, try a sapo puffer instead of a stars and stripes puffer they are a lot less aggresive.

I've never had problems with porcs nipping fins. I won't go with the stars and stripes though, thanks.

I'm considering a burrfish. There temperments are similar to the porcs so it shouldn't be a problem. Just they cause a lot of waste also.
