Temp bouncing around like crazy- please help

I have an ac jr, less than a year old. Just a few minutes ago the temp started jumping around like crazy. It going from 98 degrees then down to 82 degrees and everything in between. Probe is in the sump, unplugged the unit and plugged back in, and ran self test, nothing helped, any ideas.

Unplug the temperature probe, and if the controller reads a temperature of about 20 to 25 then the probe is the problem, and should be replaced. The part # is PRBTMPJR.

ok, thanks curt. i umplugged and it falls tothe 20-25 range. This controler is only about 6 months old and i bought it from reef geek, who do i speak with about warranty, Neptune or Reef Geek
