I just received my new vortech with the WWD, & battery backup.

I couldn't find any info on mounting the battery, or directions for hooking up the unit inside the box. I noticed there are holes in the back of the cover. But if I mount the battery to a surface they will be blocked. Are these holes in the back cover neccessary for ventilation, or are they just tabs bent in to hold the battery in place?

I was going to mount the battery vertical to a wall with the eletrical connections/plugs at the bottom, is that OK?

There are six holes on flanges on either side of the battery; Those are for mounting. On the wireless wave driver there are four small holes also for mounting.

Vertical mounting is good, that's how most people do it.

How are you supposed to get a screw through those tiny holes on the side of the WWDs??

I just bought some #4 screws, and they are too wide to fit!

What size screws do you guys use to get through those TINY holes on the WWDs? The old wired versions were much larger.

nevermind; the #4s just didnt fall in, but had to be screwed into the holes.

all is mounted and well, now :)
