View Full Version : Chiller cycling on/off

Here's what I've got set:

Nominal Value: 25.1
Cooling Differnce: 0.05
Hysteresis: 0.08

It seems my chiller cycles on and off much too quickly. I just happened to notice this while in the garage and hearing the chiller cycling.

My temperature is where I want it to be. Any suggestions on where to put the numbers so the chiller doesn't cycle as frequently?

Thanks

Why your hysteresis so low.. I have mine on 0,2

MY BAD:

Cooling Dif is .5
Hysteresis is .8

Did you try to change cooling dif, to 1.0

Increasing hysteresis will reduce switching cycles.
I have 1.5 in my tank for the cooler.
For the heater i use 0.5
(I have different settings for cooler and heater because i use "virtual probes")

Mike at AQD, not to slight you in any way, however I was referring to MSHUR, as he was part of the thread.

But, I had a bite of turkey and glass of wine and loaf of whatever for you, too. Love my ProFilux!

I adjusted my settings, set up a virtual probe for the heater and everything is working well.

Thanks for the help.
