Any maintenance necessary on closed loop

I currently have Tunzes and they seem to get jammed up ever 2-3 months. It is real anoying to hear the buzzing in the middle of the night. I have tried cleaning them and they have essentially stopped working. I tried to plug them in after cleaning and the alarm keeps going off.

Any way, I was wonder if a closed loop with Ocean Motion needed any maintenance?
