Any clue what this green tube looking thing is? It's growing in two places in my tank. It's like a really neon green. This photo doesn't show it's color well. Is it good or bad? How do I get rid of it if it's bad? Thanks.

Looks like harmless sponges.
They have a siphon tube to intake water to be filtered.
They don't like intense light, so if you look around (under rocks) you will probably discover countless sponges.

They usually hitchhike into a tank on the live rock and will grow as the tank ages. If you keep a look out you will probably see more as the tank matures. They can be pretty cool and a couple of mine have some really neat color.

Definitely a harmless sponge. They get quite large if given space to grow, especially in the 'shade'. Ours is quite large now, started tiny like yours but grew as the montipora cap above it grew.

Montipora cap, yellow sponge and cleaner shrimp. (http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a5/nmkranz/SW%20-%2040%20gallon/July%2028th%202007/July28031.jpg)
