Sorry the picture is blurry, it's the best I could do.

I have these in my tank in several spots both on live rock and in the sand bed. In the picture, the thread-like arms appear to be like tentacles that reach out. They move with the current but also move without the current. They protured from a central mass. Can anyone help me figure out what they are?

It will eat all your coral and fish, remove immediately!!!!


Just kidding....its a Spagetti worm. A beneficial detrivore that comes with your live rock. You will likely have even more in a few months. Keep checking out your live rock for different species. Each tentacle is part of one worm which uses them as arms to pull food particles into its mouth.

Nice coralline growth btw.
