Would you please ID his mantis please?

is it a Gonodactylus smithii? Thanks

Yep. Should have purple meral spots with white rings on top of the smashing arms. Nice!

Should also have red at base of uropods. Nice mantis. The meral spots look white in pic #2(?)

i dont see merals or the red knob at the base of the uropods, but that might just be because of the salt creep on the glass. In the second pic, it looks like it has red intersegmental lines. Since im pretty sure it isnt a G. ternatensis, that would make it a G. smithii. The meral spots (orange for G. tern, dark with a white ring for G. smithii) would tell for sure.

Going off of how my old smithii was colored, the blueish purple on the arms with the pinkish dactyl(is that the right part?) i would say it is a smithii.

Yeah, I think the purple and pink/orange dactyls along with the turquoise maxillipeds are pretty definitive.

Thanks Guys for all inputs, i will take more picture later once i setup my frag tank. Coz at the moment the mantis is living in my sump. I'm able to take a picture of it just because it accidentally trapped in the return section.
