I have 80 total gallons as of now, but I'm thinking of upgrading in the future. Any thoughts, comments and suggestions would be awesome.

It's a simple unit and inexpensive. Yes

I just want to know if I'll end up buying a better one in the future like I'm about to do with my skimmer. What ghp pump would ya'll suggest?

i think if you look on marinedepot they suggest 80 gph but check to make sure.

Cheers,

Kurt

For phosban a mini-jet 404, for carbon a mini-jet 606.

This is one of the best phosphate reactor....

mini-jet404 and the 2 little fishes 150 is the most popular and will carry forward to any tank. you can hang it inside or outside of sump or tank. or just let is sit in sump.

I run a mini-jet 404 on my 2LF phosban reactor and it is enough to fluidize the carbon and the flow can be easily restricted to a trickle for phospate media. I really like the 2LF reactor and am very happy I bought it over some of the others that were in the same price range.

Agree with everyone. Its great. Also, you can run 2 if you upgrade to a much larger tank.

Mine works great. I use a micro-jet pump.

I like this one alot. The Kent one with that lock top is garbage.

I use a maxijet 600 and use the valve to cut back the flow

I used to use two of them. They work fine, but IMO, too small. They dont hold very much media. OK for GFO, small for carbon, especially on larger systems. I now use a Fluval Canister filter for carbon and GFO.

This unit works as advertised. I bought a Kent Phos reactor and that thing LEAKED straight out of the box.
