OK so let's start from the beginning. I have a 75g and started out buying 50 lbs of LR and let that cure for 4 weeks doing several water changes it cured pretty much to perfection. i mixed salt water in tank and added roughly 120 lbs high desert play sand and seeded it with roughly 30 lbs of awesome sand from a buddy's tank. it took a full week to clear up and then i added the 50lbs of cured LR and stocked the refugium with cheato. day 10, 3 days after adding rock i got 0 nitrite and ammonia levels and a very slight amount of nitrate present. then i don't know why but i waited until day 17 to test again. all levels 0 except ammonia was at 0.25. day 19 i added 25 more lbs of fully cured LR from reputable LFS. day 20 i have 0 readings across the board. by the way throughout all test pH maintained ~8.3-8.4 and salinity at 1.023. i also have not done a water change yet in the tank.
Now, is it possible that i could've missed the spike and the tank has already gone through the cycle? what other things should i be testing for? i am also guessing i should do a water change soon? thanks

That happenned to me. I never registered a real high ammonia count during my first four-six week cycle. I stocked the tank pretty good with live rock (86lbs in a 95G). Perhaps thats why.

Well... I cycled my tank 50G with 23kg (51lbs i think?) of cured LR... tank cycled very quickly roughly 10 days... :)

The best way to test that the tank is cycled is by throwing a few dead shrimps and check the tank parameters your tank should remain in 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites and you should be able to see a rise in Nitrates... if that happen... you're sorted.
