Just noticed this today, looks like maybe some kind of anemone..?
Should I get rid of it, or keep it?

Yep, I think you're right after looking at some other pictures on google images.

That's what it is. You can inject hot water or lemon juice directly into its mouth until its gone. :hammer:

Yeah, it is aiptasia. Bad, bad, bad, anemone. It can spread all over your tank preaty fast. Get rid of it as soon you can.

i had a few of those in my biocube29 and for some reason it seems like they died on their own. I had some inside my 1st chamber and those are dead too. I dont know what killed them, but good riddens...

Sorry to hijack but this may be of concern to others....

Has anyone treid joes juice on aptasia that are growing right in the middle of some zoas?

I tried the lemon juice and got a little bit on one of the zoas next to it.
It has never opened since! (Did kill the aptasia though).

I was thinking of trying joes juice but wonder if it would kill zoas/colonising anemones sholud I miss again!?

I killed some aptaisia in the middle of some of my zoos. I just did it really slow and got most of it on the aptasia. My zoos are doing good. If you get some on your zoos just try to blow it off with some water movement. The aptasia usually closes up anyways so just make sure to blow off the extra joes juice.
