Has/does anyone run their PhosBan Reactor with GFO in reverse-- i.e. flowing down instead of up? I do this with the carbon side of my chain, but I'm considering doing it for the GFO as well. I'm wondering if this might allow me to increase the rate of flow through it and process a little more gph? I know the slow flow is supposed to make it more effective, but might processing more water/hour make up for the decreased contact time? Thanks.

It will pack the media into a solid clump. You want the media fluidized so it stays loose and because it provides the most surface area for it to adsorb phosphates.

I think since phosban reactors are around 30 bux, its worth buying another one with the corrct flow.

Yeah I did (not realizing i hooked it up wrong)
It was like a rock - had to chisel it out with a screwdriver.

right, the "packing" problem. I'll leave it as is.
